Is there a security deposit?
Yes, a security deposit of $500 plus half of the rental fee is due the day you sign a contract. The security deposit plus half of the rental fee also secures the date and time of your event. Security deposit is returned after the premises have been thoroughly inspected.
When is payment due for your event?
Payment in full is due two months prior to your event. For those who are active duty or have served in the military, 10% discount is provided.
How many people can we accommodate for outdoor event?
WRR can accommodate small or large groups
Can special events such as ministry retreats, or family reunions have access to swimming pool and outdoor kitchen?
Yes, however a certified lifeguard will need to be on premises if the pool is to be used and the expense covered by you.
Can we have access to the property for engagement, or wedding photos?
Yes, a complimentary hour and half photo shoot can be scheduled.
Does WRR accommodate a wedding rehearsal?
Yes, a complimentary rehearsal time for an hour is provided within a 24 hour period before the wedding if the time is not booked already. Another day can be arranged if the day before is already booked. If additional time is needed, please speak with us about the cost for additional time.
When do we have access to the property for setup?
Access to the property the day of your event is a 12 hour time span.
Where can the bride and her party get ready?
We have a room for the bride and her party to get ready. The groom and groomsman will have access to a room in the venue barn as well while waiting for the bride to be ready .
Does WRR provide event coordinator?
No,you will be responsible for an Event Coordinator, however a staff member of WRR will be available to answer any questions the day of your event, and we have listed an Event Coordinator on our Local Contacts list if you would like to contact them.
Are there any decorating restrictions?
Use of staples nails or push pins to hang lights or any decoration around tree or pergola area is not allowed. All non-biodegradable products are not allowed to be thrown on property. All food and drink dishes must be non-breakable; no glassware is permitted. WRR will be glad to answer any questions you have about decorating items.
Who is responsible for tear down and clean-up the day of your event?
Any items your vendors have provided will need to be removed by the end of your rental period. This also includes any items brought by you or your guest. WRR will provide the expense of a trash dumpster or large trash containers for you to dispose of trash. Any additional clean-up needed after event will be deducted from your security deposit.
Does WRR provide tables, chairs, serving dishes, port-a-potties, etc?
No, however all lawn furniture around the pergola, pool and covered patio may be used for your guest. Port-a-potties will need to be rented for outdoor bathroom (local sanitation company we recommend is A1 Sanitation, 903-784-6821, email: a1sanitation.net, Paris, Tx) for all events that are only outdoors.
Is alcohol or smoking permitted on the property?
Alcohol is allowed on premises. There will be a designated smoking area. You will need to provide security (off duty police officer) if alcohol is to be served.
Pool area guidelines of WRR.
Mingling on patio around pool is welcomed, however we want to make sure your event is as safe as possible. We have a safety net to enclose pool in case of accident, or a certified life guard will need to be hired for your event if you choose to not use safety net. WRR will be glad to provide names of certified lifeguard if you prefer instead of safety net. The expense of certified lifeguard will be yours. Any photos you would like taken around the pool can be done before the safety net is placed on the pool.

How large of a group can you accommodate for EAL?
*As small as 2 and up to 20 or more
What is the best clothing for EAL?
*Hard toe shoes or boots are required to be worn by all participants for safety purposes. Bring a hat for shade and a jacket for cooler weather.
How long is an EAL event?
*Teaching time, and activity time can be 2hrs to 6hrs depending on the size and goals of group. This will include break time.
Will lunch or snacks be included in the cost?
*Yes! If anyone has special diet needs, please let us know.
Will we be able to "customize" to our specific group goals and needs?
We will have a prior meeting to discuss your goals and what your group desires to accomplish which is included in the cost of the event. This will give us the opportunity to formulate your event to meet your expectations.
When is payment due for EAL?
Half of the payment is due two weeks prior to event, and the remaining balance is due the day of the event.
COUPLES COUNSELING INTENSIVE RETREAT
Is there any preparation by the couples for the counseling retreat?
No, except come with an expectation for positive change and renewed connection in your relationship. A willingness to change and grow is half the battle. We will have an intake and background session before the counseling retreat is scheduled in order for me to customize your time together according to your needs.This initial session is included it the cost of counseling retreat.
